We seek a full-time Global Technical Account Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Mainz, Germany, and to focus on account and project management activities in support of PHYTEC’s global operations.
Resolve issues that gate or delay order processing, forecasting, manufacturing, test and shipment of product
Maintain global pricing books for standard products
Optimize/minimize costs while maintaining commit dates and necassary flexibility
Align supply with demand for product and ensure best practices to minimize risk and maximize continuity in the Supply Chain
Contribute to continuous process improvements
BoM (Bill of Material) and part revision set-up,
management and control (including custom configurations);
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM);
Process and ensure fulfillment of special orders; such as test fixtures and LTB’s
New Product Introduction (NPI): set-up and oversee production in Germany of prototypes of products designed by global PHYTEC entities Transition NPI from R&D to Supply Chain
Escalation: as needed with applicable departments and teams on behalf of PHYTEC global subsidiaries
Engage as needed in special projects
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (Wirtschaftsingenierwesen), Electronics Technology for Industrial Engineering (Elektroniker für Betriebstechnik), Engineering Management, Business Administration (Betriebswirtschaftslehre) or other relevant field
The ideal candidate will also offer a minimum of 2 years experience proven record of succes in support of customers and / or remote business units.
Be a self-starter, able to take independent initiative and learn quickly in a team-oriented environment
Organizational and communication (German as well as English) skills
Familiarity with technical products and production of these products
Working knowledge of ERP (SAP), CRM (Creatio), as well as tools to leverage collaboration across global teams (Slack, Mattermost; Atlassian Confluence, Zoom) is a plus
Ability to work across different cultures
Willingness to travel uo to 10% both domestically and internationally
