Description:

The Voice Control Kit 2 is based on the proven and industry-standard phyBOARD-Mira with robust software support. Developed together with voice INTER Connect Voice control for embedded systems This kit is supplemented by a microphone array board with seven microphones arranged in a circle. With the help of time-of-flight difference measurements between the individual microphones, it is possible to locate noise sources in the vicinity and to block out other background noises by focusing these sources. The electronic post-processing of the microphone signals is carried out using static or adaptive algorithms (beamforming), which are combined as a library in the Multichannel Speech Enhancement Suite (vicMSES) by voice INTER connect.
Depending on the application, the focus can be directed to recognized noise sources or fixed in a certain direction. This filtering of background noise enables reliable and high quality speech recognition, even in very noisy environments.  

Hands-free and hygienic control
Settings can be made using voice commands, even if both hands are required to work on the workpiece and the eyes have to monitor the process. The contactless control by voice command is more hygienic than operation by touch panel or control heads.

Self-sufficient, secure and in real time
The voice control works on the target hardware with local resources. It works offline, without being connected to the Internet. This reduces possible areas of attack for manipulation. At the same time, data security, operational readiness and reliability increase.

Comfortable and efficient
Complex settings that can only be reached with nested menus with manual operation are covered in one sentence using voice control. The user can continue working and at the same time adapt parameters to his task.

Flexible and retrofittable
The microphone array can be installed separately from the electronics. Over 30 national languages ​​are prepared for voice control in professional quality.
Voice control can also be implemented in the series on other controller platforms, e.g. iMX 8. It is also possible to supplement GUIs with voice control for existing systems.
