The phyCORE-i.MX 6UL / ULL is an embedded SOM suitable for industrial use with complete Linux implementation, which is available at series prices below 20 euros (from 10.000 pieces). With its low energy consumption and a module size of just 36 x 36 mm, it also opens up the advantages of the Linux world for applications that were previously only equipped with MCUs. The module is based on the i.MX 6UL / ULL processor from NXP.

The System-on-Module was developed and optimized with regard to complete industrial suitability and for large-scale production. On the other hand, it is characterized by its price-optimized parts list as well as by the one-sided assembly and the solder contacts on the outside. The module supports the extended temperature range for use in industrial applications. Long-term availability of at least 15 years and the fulfillment of the highest demands on quality, EMC properties and security enable use in medical technology and automation, among other things. On request, Phytec can supply the phyCORE-i.MX 6UL taped on rolls of 175 modules or 20 modules in the prototype -Phase.
